The SMA to RP-SMA Adapter provides a direct conversion between standard SMA and Reverse Polarity SMA (RP-SMA) connectors. These two connector types share identical outer dimensions and thread specifications, differing only in the gender of the center contact. This adapter is one of the most frequently used RF adapters in wireless networking and antenna work, as it allows standard SMA-terminated RF cables and instruments to connect directly to the RP-SMA ports found on many Wi-Fi routers, access points, and wireless modules.
