The N to RP-N Adapter provides an interface between standard N-type connectors and Reverse Polarity N (RP-N) connectors. Reverse Polarity connectors use the same outer shell dimensions as their standard counterparts but with the inner contact gender reversed — a male RP-N connector carries a female center contact, while a female RP-N carries a male center pin. This adapter is commonly used to bridge equipment with mixed N and RP-N interfaces without requiring cable replacement.
