Micro-strip RF ConnectorsBMA
Product Introduction:
This connector is horizontally mounted at the edge of a PCB and is commonly referred to as an “End Launch” interface. It enables microstrip signals on the PCB to be directly routed out through a blind-mate connection, serving as a key transition point between board-level circuits and external RF paths.
Product Features:
Low-profile routing support: With its surface-mounted edge design, it occupies no vertical space above the PCB. This is especially beneficial for stacked board architectures, allowing reduced spacing between layers.
Optimized impedance matching: The bottom pin structure is fine-tuned for common PCB materials such as Rogers and FR-4, effectively minimizing impedance discontinuities during the transition from planar microstrip lines to coaxial structures.
Self-guiding alignment feature: The front interface includes a lead-in chamfer, ensuring smooth mating even when visibility is limited, reducing the risk of damage or performance degradation due to misalignment.
Typical Applications:
Ideal for phased array antenna control boards, RF front-end transceiver cards, and systems requiring vertical blind-mate connections with backplanes.
